I always feel very honoured when people choose to work with me. I consider it a great privilege that they feel confident enough in my training and experience to help them through tough times to the other side. Sometimes people turn up in my office that have had a particularly tough time, and this client is somebody who has without doubt been to the depths of human despair. Beautiful, warm, acutely intelligent and articulate, she seemed to be dismissed by the ‘normal’ routes to help and was badly let down by this neglect to assist. This lovely young lady is well into recovery and using her experience to not only change the things that led to her depression, but helping others to move forwards out of hopelessness. I applaud not only her courage and wisdom but also her determination to shatter the stigma around mental health issues.

The most exciting thing in the world is getting a chance to tear it all up and start again. Keep all the things you want and throw out everything you don’t. Wendy will help you do just that!

It’s great to have a leading psychotherapist such as Wendy in the Cheshire area, outside of her Harley Street practice. After publicly raising awareness of mental health issues and myself recovering from depression, I know how immensely life-changing expert intervention can be.
